It's 98 degrees. Well technically, as we speak it is only about 85 or so but it's supposed to be 98 again today. I don't think I've ever wanted to just pull my own skin off so much in my life. But this heat has made me realize something.
While contemplating my love/ hate relationship with the air conditioner I became aware that for the first time in my life I have all of the modern conveniences I've always wanted. Washer, Dryer, dish washer, air conditioner, bath tub, dog. Ok, those last two aren't exactly new technology or anything, just things I've always wanted and considered necessary for adult life. Never before in any apartment or living situation have I had all of these at the same time. I guess these are the things that come together when you become an adult. AAAHHH, scary. Let's move on to a more juvenile topic of discussion....
