Just a quick update on the Comment-a-thon. We are more than a week into the month long contest and so far Jenn is the front runner for winning both the most comments and most posts commented on. As prizes are the same, it would be silly for her to win both so...coming in with the second most posts so far is Mickey and SurvivingMyself.


Things to do in the next week:

• Cut pattern for homemade gauchos
• Celebrate St. Patrick's Day/ La Nina's Birthday
  
• Sit through almost 6 more hours of training in one day at work
• Update my readers on the status of the Comment-a-thon

• Complete practical for Equine Massage Therapy certification

• Put down new kitchen floor
• Buy and wear a pair of stilletos with grace

I'm Hesitating

I just got off the phone with a potential new boy. (When I say "just", I actually mean couple of days ago, because that is when I actually wrote this) He was very nice, and it was pretty easy and good conversation but I just don't know. I suppose of course I shall call him again at some point and see where things go, it would be super silly for me to just shy away from him because I wasn't thrown head over heals. I don't believe in love at first sight and therefore I also don't believe in love at first telephone conversation.

A friend at work, (I've never mentioned her before, I'll start calling her La Nina) has been trying to set me up with a friend of hers. So far he is good on paper, cute, good job, fun to hang out with (so she says) and all around a good guy. I kind of want to give this guy a chance before getting involved with anyone else.

In a world where "he who hesitates is lost" should I really hold off to meet the phone boy? I am so terribly bad at dating more than one person at a time, primarily because I have such a terrible memory and I am so afraid of hurting people. Ok, so I'm actually just really bad at dating in general. Should I call the guy back and make a plan to meet up, because really, what if this other boy just doesn't pan out. I'm hesitating, and I could miss a great opportunity here. Why do I put so much pressure on myself?
